It would only be identical if the pivot point were centered. If the pivot point is off center than one angle would be greater than the other.

Theyre not getting cheaper than this. Ive installed a bunch of these in my old job. I like the bracket that goes beyond 16". Its not top quality but just fine for brand new large tv's.

avoid mounts with these pull down quick releases. they never latch properly, and can allow your tv to fly off the bracket.

If you mean a frame with an opening in the middle, don't install wires thru that. They need to be above or under the mount. It's asking for problems.

How could the max tilt angle be 15° on the top while only 5° at the bottom? Unless your TV can curve, otherwise, the angle should be identical, either 15° or 5°.
