If the phone was from t mobile initially you'll get the 1000pts at t mobile offer.. doesn't matter what sim card you have in the phone.. it's dependent on the carrier firmware running on the phone...

But many posted that they was able to get points from different carriers just inserting their sim card. Did you try it yourself or just guessing?

This offer will only appear on phones that were bought from carriers and not unlocked... You can also flash carrier firmware on your unlocked phone to get the offers

I think it depends upon the SIM card you are using. I m using unlocked sprint note 8. I used both att and tmob sim to receive 1000 points each last time.

I did try inserting different sim cards but didn't work.. did the firmware flash thing during the last reward hunt and was successful.. it's my guess but I've got 4 different phones and changing sim...

I never see these "rewards hunt" offers... there was one for Tmo too not too long ago. I don't even see where they would exist in the app.

u can use inactive sim. today I insert inactive verizon sim and went to verizon store picked up 2000 points.
