It's not true 4k. It's pixel shifting aka 2k with fast moving mirrors to appear 4k.

God. I hope I'm doing the right thing. Bought the PX700HD. Good reviews on that. I can probably stretch the throw to 10ft. That gives me a 80' diagonal screen. But I'm also reading that for those...

Thank you OP. Bought the 4k projector. Glad I missed when it was 599 last month. Fantastic value here.

If I was limited to well under 100" and spending under a grand, I'd get a TV, and just get the largest budget set I could find. If you could go to 100" I'd get the BenQ HT2050a and call it a day. ...

727 is better pic and more suited to home theater. if you absolutely need to watch in broad daylight in uncontrolled lighting, then you might need 747. only you can figure that out.

super sharp 4k picture... that you probably couldn't differentiate from 1080p because your TV is too small unless you sit 3 feet away from it

I agree there is no matching the clarity of a quality 4k panel, but a good projector, properly set up projecting on a good projector screen actually produces a very respectable picture, at large...

Return policy isn't bad for the chance and the more recent reviews look like maybe the firmware update fixed the issues. I am hoping 😁

Yes, these are all pixel shift projectors rather than native 4k projectors. Still gives an elite image and it's unlikely that your eyes can tell a difference. Native 4k projectors cost far more than...

Same here. I was going to go for the 747, but the 727 sounds like it has much better color.

I currently have a 480p InFocus projector and am limited to an 88" diagonal screen. If I were to spend up to $700 should I get a replacement 1080p projector or a 75" tv? Throw has to be very...

Probably not what you're interested in, but I'm getting that 1700 or $2,000 LG 4K projector because it has very powerful computer for apps in it amongst other things.

Are you kidding ? Native resolution for 727 says 4k everywhere. Please do research before you say things where people come to read comments before buying.

In for a 727, good deal - replacing my Optima 1080p much older model with several thousand hours and needs a bulb. Dedicated HT, with a AT screen and a sh!t load of amplifier power, and BASS.

I had an in focus X1 (bought it in 2001, used it until 2007), then a 4805. Not sure if the incremental improvement from the newest projectors will ever be as impressive as that jump from a tv to an...

Decent. Sold out tho. The difference between 2200 lumens and 3000 lumens is way less than people think, due to the logarithmic nature of the number vs human perception. I own 300 lumen, 3,000 lumen...

FYI this is not a native 4K projector, it's a 1080p pixel shifting unit. Reviews I've read indicate that while the 4K resolution is pretty sharp, its HDR performance is not great and it's really...

"effect" implies it doesn't throw the full amount of pixels a native 4k chip does. The terms effect or perception would apply to the Epson projectors which don't throw the full 8mil + pixels, but due...
