I'm not sure about the other success stories using the BBB, but I used the Washington state BBB and used the address for the Microsoft HQ there and it was resolved quickly.

MS support is an absolute nightmare. They read from a script, lie to you over chat, and you just hope everything works out. I will go back to PlayStation ASAP. The Xbox X isn’t anything special!

I did it through their bing app. You go to the rewards section of the app, scroll to the bottom of that page, and there is a special link to contact Microsoft rewards directly.
