Both are the same price, seems the series 5 has 1 extra HDMI port, slimmer design and 178 degree viewing angles. I would go for 5.

Compared the 2 before making the purchase on the 5, ultimately, the different is the framing on the tv. The 5 has a really slim frame close to an edge to edge screen also has Dolby Vision support.

Make sure you buy extended warranty on tcl tv. I brought a 55” tcl 4K tv and it died after 2 years of usage.
