Both are the same price, seems the series 5 has 1 extra HDMI port, slimmer design and 178 degree viewing angles. I would go for 5.

I paid for the same price for the 50” on Black Friday :(. But I’m pretty shock by the picture quality per the price. Loving it for far.

Is it me or does it feel inevitable that best buy will discount the 65r625 in the next couple days? That's the set I've been holding out for

Are you sure you didn't get the 55r625? Or the 65r617?

I love Costco but they're still selling a 50" 4 Series for $249. Plus Best Buy has 0% interest if paid off over a certain amount of months so I'd jump on this if you're still in need of a TV and you...

This or the 65” hisense? I have the hisense in my bedroom already. Need a living room tv. I sit like 12’ from the tv in living room so the 55” or 65” both work. It’s just for the kid to play ps4. And...

I have a 65 inch 5 series and it's a great looking TV other than the slightly weird Dolby vision implementation. Solid TV though.

Compared the 2 before making the purchase on the 5, ultimately, the different is the framing on the tv. The 5 has a really slim frame close to an edge to edge screen also has Dolby Vision support.
