For people who play these on game consoles, it seems like the PS4 will play them, as the PS3 was also a 3D Blu Ray player, but the Xbox One will not play 3D Blu Rays.

The XBox One WILL absolutely play 3D movies. I use mine all the time now since my Samsung blu-ray player died. They added that ability with an update like 3 years ago or something.

When my ps4 froze one day, my Xbox one played doctor strange in 3D with no issues. Not sure what your Xbox issue is, but they do play 3D discs.
