These bulbs actually require an Instant ballast. See the specs for supported ballasts.

Just received them and installed them in my T5 fixtures, wow, they're brighter than the tubes they replaced! Better CRI too!

Do you have to cut the ballast wiring to make these work or do they have a transformer built-in?
