The DX-P 18-55mm lens (and camera bag) for $30 more is worth every penny. As jimx200 said, it and the longer zoom DX-P 70-300mm (with VR option) are excellent! You will not regret getting either one....

Mirrorless: no improvement in IQ. The big advantage with Nikon Z6/7 is that Nikkor lenses will work so no extra money spent on glass.

I think the bag and lens you could sell for maybe $60 total after ebay fees. Yeah, that may not be worth it to everyone. But this being Slickdeals it's hard to choose convenience over price. :)

My biggest issue is lens compatibility. I use some pro AF lenses from the 90s on my ff dslr. Killing backwards compatibility means I'll not move on, least of all to Nikon.
