I got the red one earlier this year and it came with a warranty card for 3 years from the date of purchase. Their warranty on new blenders is 7 years and 3 years on refurbs.

They don't have shorter and taller "models." There are the older, pre-Ascent models (including this one), and the newer Ascent series. The accessories fit either the Ascent or the pre-Ascent models....

Just received the Vitamix. it looks like it is brand new. the container and lid looks new. On the base there was a little bit of glue. But other than that it looks good. Glad i bought it.
