This version does not have the pressure function. They have a more expensive model that cooks with pressure and induction. But I don't think even in that model you'd use it like a regular pressure...

Homemade pasta and bread is far more complicated than cooking rice. I get what you are saying though. If they made a machine that spit out homemade pasta like it was made by a pure blooded Italian,...

This cooks all kinds of rice extremely well. It comes out ***perfect*** (and I mean this literally) every time with no effort. It keeps the rice warm for many hours at perfect condition (on weekends...

These are completely worth. Zojirushi makes one of the best rice cookers. My family has had ours for 5+ years and it's still working fine. The induction heating ones are super worth.

The inside of the pot will be fine as long as you used the plastic rice scoop that comes with the cooker, and you hand wash it using a sponge (use the yellow side, not the green side, of the scrub...

I'm gonna play devil's advocate here and say that you don't necessarily need this even if your family eats a lot of rice. Now it may be that my family had an older 2009 model, but after cooking rice...

Is the induction one worth it? Does the non induction model work good enough? It is 100 bucks more for the induction.

Interesting, looks like it was on sale for $192 a year ago. Looks like this is the cheapest since. Before anyone asks, I don't have a time machine and I'm not saying this isn't a good deal. I'm...

I have been eyeing induction heating rice cookers for a year. While it's true that this zojirushi model has been as low as $192 before, it lasted 3 hours on Amazon and has never been lower since....

It's a warm deal. It's been this price 6 times or lower in the past year on Amazon, at one point hitting $192

IMO pay a little more and get pressure cooker induction version, and yes these are worth the money for those that eat rice daily and like good rice

I wouldn't use the included plastic spatula, they also scratch the bowl. Instead, use a silicone spatula. Clean with a sponge or microfiber cloth. I personally prefer the bowl in the Tiger IH...

I'm Japanese so I eat a lot of rice and I'm pretty picky about the rice I eat. In my opinion, the non-induction (micom) Zojirushi models make excellent rice. I do like my induction (IH) rice cooker...

I'm curious about this. But I do not think I'd get any real use from it. I eat rice a lot so I've learned how to cook it. This might make my life easier but at the cost of counter space. So out...

I bought my wife the smaller version, Zojirushi NP-HCC10XH, two years ago. She says it makes perfect rice. Thai-Chinese wife approved. BTW, I can swear that she loves the thing more than me.

I love their plastic spatula. Haven’t had any experience with it scratching the bowl. It’s better than other rice spatulas since it is non stick. Rice comes right off.

I have both. It has multiple sensors to measure the temperature of the rice and uses fuzzy logic to cook rice. It does make better rice than pressure cooker, but if you don’t make rice often it s...

Can you use it like a pressure cooker too? Like can I put chicken in it?
