Just purchased this GPU last month and it has handled a couple games I currently play on ultra with no issues (Witcher 3, CSGO). Highly recommend. MIR is easy to fill out & send.

The 5700XT is a better value if you can get one for retail price, but the 2070 Super is going to be more powerful in most games. It comes down to how much you want to spend.

5700XT is usually best bang for buck. But make sure you don't need the features NVIDIA cards would offer like CUDA, ray tracing, etc. Media creators mostly stick to team green. Only downsides to the...

They trade jabs depending on the title. 5700xt is def better value. I have a 2080 and RT is nice, but I lose 30fps easy in MW, so not really worth it right now imo.

This or 5700xt?

I’m literally waiting for the XC Ultra because of better cooling setup, higher boost clock, and has a nice protective plate. No sales on that version though.

1080ti especially if it has a good cooler has overclocking Headroom and in a lot of games is already a better choice. The 2070 super is close but it still Trails by a couple of frames in many games....

I've read the 5700XT overheats and throttles but I'm unsure if that's brand and model specific.

Headsup, the techpowerup review linked above is for the non-Super version of this card.

Wish AMD stuff didn't run so hot and loud. I honestly prefer a more quiet system over a few more FPS.

It's always brand and model specific and about laptop cooling capacity and thermals.

I still have my GTX970 4(3.5)gb, it's showing its age but still plays all the games I throw at it. Waiting for next gen cards since leather jacket man Jensen Huang said they'd be cheaper, I don't...

Nvidia cards always seem to be priced at least $100(monopoly pricing premium) over what would be a good deal... Too bad there isn't a decent used video card market.. mainly scammers or greedy sellers.

Code EMCUVVC26 seems to be invalid now, and looks like it's been replaced with VGAPCJP722.

It is decent. But seems people are still expecting great deals on 2070 supers/2080s when they never happen.

I'd agree although I don't know how optimized/reliable AMD's drivers are these days... I currently have the 2070 XC Ultra (non-super) and am able to run most games maxed out at 3440x1440P. Modern...

I'm just surprised there's a video card deal that got traction. Usually the mobs just downvote everything. Graphics cards are literally get what you pay for right now. Like this deal isn't really...

Yup, my 980 is still kicking butt for the games I play and I really havnt felt like an upgrade was needed. I'll wait till RTX 2nd gen matures a bit

I got a good deal 1080ti from my mining friend when he disbanded his rig. Should I bite this? Or wait for next generation?

It is a good deal. Good deals on high end cards are rare. I paid $350 for my EVGA 2070 and thought that was high, but it ended up being a good deal as 2070s never dropped much when the super cards...

How important is RTX to you? If it's not and you're only doing gaming, you will see only marginal improvements with the 2070 SUPER. I'd say wait.

Am using this as we speak. Paid $500 for it a month ago and I'm very happy with the purchase. In case it hasn't been discussed, "Black" means no lighting of any kind.

That's a side-grade at best... downgrade at worst. 1080ti still beats the 2070 Super in many games, and in some others just marginally worse. RTX is the main differentiator, if that's important to...

I would buy a two fan 5700 (non xt) and use the overpowertool or flash it. Similar performance for a good bit less if you are willing to tinker
