The T490 dock slides in from the side using thunderbolt technology. This dock uses a proprietary connector on the bottom of the laptops from the model range, T440 through T470.

probably not. pretty sure this dock uses a connection proprietary to lenovo thinkpads, and even for those, they are kinda dated.
