absolutely. tvs are no way near the weight they used to be for plasmas 10 years ago. a 75 will weight about 50lbs.

I think it's also better to mount it high for bedroom use. If you are laying in bed it will cause less neck strain depending on the yaw of your neck and pillow plane divergence
