I recently purchased the Sigma trio (16mm, 30mm and 56mm) for my a6400. They’re awesome lenses. I’m also using my Canon 70-200mm with the Sigma MC11 adapter, which works great. Since none of Sigma...

Same! Got this, and listed my a6400 for sale locally. The Sigma lenses are superb, and this adds stabilization to them.

You could get refurbished R body for about $1300 through beneplace, otherwise new RP + EF adapter for about $1K directly from canon. If I was buying into a new system and was looking for a portrait...

How does this compare to the G9? I used to have a Nikon D600 but haven’t been keeping up with the camera game. I’d be using it for portraits, video, and landscapes. Nothing professional though
