Update: Price dropped to $829 for white and $879 for black. November this was a front page deal for $799 at Lowes but many commented that it was better to buy through costco even at $100+ more...

I’ve looked at their brochures, it doesn’t overlap like Best Buy. It picks up after the manufacturer warranty & Costco’s warranty end.

I avoid best buy ever since they changed return policy to 14 days. I prefer to buy appliances at Costco. Second choice is Home Depot.

are you sure the square trade warranty picks up after year 4? or overlaps with the Costco and really only gives you 2+3 which is only an additional year?

But if you get a total of 7 years of warranty for $79 that changes the equation. This is the #1 rated front loader on consumer reports but you cant be too careful.

The warranties don't overlap and the order is manufacturer, squaretrade, then costco visa. So you may need to keep the costco visa for 7 years if you do everything, not sure if the visa warranty...

That's what I've read. We bought a basic but large Kenmore top loader for $450 and have been very happy. I have family with front loaders and they've had issues and from different brands.
