You're right. I initially noticed the -ol suffix, did a quick search, saw "sugar alcohol" and immediately associated it with the effects of other sugar alcohols. It turns out this is a newer sugar...

Why do we have to add sugar or sal to food we eat ? To make it taste better, so we can eat more of it. That’s the problem. I want to drink tea or coffee, I want to rate it’s real taste, not enhance...

They have a distributor in Shanghai, so it's probably pretty legitimate. Not all of China is backwards and filling food with plastics. Look at Shenzen - it's as modern as Tokyo and New York....

Better than sex? I would totally give up a dozen Krispy Kremes to someone who could offer a gracious 1 min ribbing. Sounds more like preference than anything, but I agree that sugar is addictive.

Good price but deal's dead for me. I've had a good experience with erythritol, but it's usually too expensive to bake with extensively. Would've grabbed like 5-10 lbs of this.

Bloating is another side effect of erythritol. Granted, you're right, it's much better than other synthetic and/or fake sugars or actual sugar. Though I think stevia or monk fruit is a better...

I got more angry about sugar than anything. Saw a few random documentaries while home sick from work one day and it made me aware of just how much sugar I was actually consuming from the stuff I ate....

You’ve been in ketosis for three years? Jealous. It takes dedication, careful meal planning, and serious discipline to go keto for two weeks let alone three days. I don’t try to get into ketosis...

I hear ya. I've been pretty consistently in ketosis for nearly 3 years now and still crave sweet things all the time. When I initially started, erythritol didn't really bother my digestive system,...

I only wish it worked that way for me. Been nearly 3 months since I cut out sugar. I crave it to the point of depression and when I did let myself have a couple tiny cheats for the first time...

Erythritol is way better than other sugar alcohols. Yes, EXCESSIVE consumption may cause unpleasant side effects, but not if you replace your usual sugar consumption with this in the recommended...
