you menards burner has a thermostat in it that will be a 'saftey over heat" shut off. You could... bypass it and create, but without care it could be a fire hazzard...

I wouldn't use a tea kettle to heat milk. But making chai is my use case too. Hopefully doing that would be speedy in an induction cooktop.

How long to boil enough water to cook a deluxe pack of shells and cheese? It takes 13 minutes for a good rolling boil on my gas range.
It takes 45 minutes on my electric burner from menards.
