I got it for $59 a few months ago and it works good and I like the app. It's nice being able to block devices easily. But I guess that's probably a very basic feature these days.

Looks like OpenWRT supports the Archer A7, including the latest v4 & v5. https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/archer-c7-1750 That's a great firmware option for power users.

I have used Archer C7 for couple of years and wifi connection gets dropped suddenly. So I would say research more on long term reviews before purchasing. I am using Wavlink now and it works great
