it's not a real ultrawide image.. it's a zoomed in/ cropped image . you're actually losing part of the picture compared to non ultrawide

The game is stretching your horizontal field of view to your screen size and cutting off your vertical view, so you are actually seeing less content than someone with a standard 16:9 resolution....
