Extreme heat/cold will causing Lithium battery issue, fast charge not sure, used to be especially for Ni-NH. A lot phone start using 30W and 40W.charging.. I dont think Q1 10W will be the issue....

I disagree. I have had an OtterBox or generic case on the 3 phones that I've used the stands chargers with and haven't had much of an issue with the charging position.

The version you linked does not support the faster 7.5 W profile for iPhones. For Samsung/non-Apple devices, they would be no functional difference.

Yeah, these Anker pads are fairly picky with device placement. I'd go with a stand -- stands at least guide one dimension so it's hard to miss the charging area.
