You don't have to click through from Amex, you just have to use the Amex card. I never click through from the Amex site on anything and always get the credit.

That has to be used in 60 days. Not a better deal for me with the GC and the Amex offer. I won't spend $45 in 60 days. Most stuff they sell that I would buy I can get cheaper elsewhere.
