How can these compare to the Sony WH-XB900N Wireless Bluetooth Noise Canceling Headphones that I was able to get for $90 over the holidays? I haven't tried the Sony cans yet.

According to their listing, they dont have ANC. They are closed headphones though (decent natural seal) and the ambient aware is probably a microphone being piped into the audio at whatever volume...

The Sony's you have is way better... Way better bass and has real Active Noise Canceling (ANC) and not passive noise canceling and little bass . I didn't see the $90 deal or I probably would have...

There is no active noise cancelling, only passive from the earcups. The ambient aware only activates the microphones and passes your surrounding sounds through the earcups. Amazon's comparison...
