Do yourself a favor and cut some new wood shelves before you put that cheap MDF on there. Lasted about a year and a half before they all started sagging.

I don't know.. Only the black ones have something you can slide in between to connect the two halves.
The gray one you just use the shelf to connect the top and bottom.

I saw these in the store and they're not all that sturdy. The metal parts seem fine but the wooden shelves seem weak. Many of them were warped and I doubt they'd hold up to any moisture.
