Don't see why this is FP worthy. Not particularly a great product IMO. In most cases you'd just be better off with a all around faster drive (7200, SSD, WD Black, etc.), depending on price still...

Even if it's not as fast as SSD.. I got 3 of these babies in 1 laptop, xbox one s, ps4.. still running. It's true it's not as fast.. it needs some time to learn what files should be in cache.. but...

Why is anyone buying hybrid drives at this point? They suck compared to SSD for booting even after they are trained. And for everything else they provide standard molasses slow-spinning 2.5" drive...

Just get a samsung, comes with clone software, and for an os drive, never go with anything less than an ssd, the prices are low enough now that it doesn't matter.

It uses 5400 rpm drive so pretty slow. Unless your files are 8gb and less.. its a mediocre performance. More for the casual user. I wouldn’t recommend this for any production as that requires hefty...

yes, especially if the older desktop was pre-TRIM or just needs the extra space. the SSD will be faster, but this is a decent compromise for those on a budget.
