Don't these splash everywhere when washing hands compared to a traditional style that drops water straight down from the tap?

Glacier Bay guaranteed to fail within 5 years. Not what you want in a faucet.

agreed. there needs to be a higher progressive water fee that applies to EVERYBODY (farmers, corporations, .etc) that'll force people to be not so wasteful, like running the water constantly

Can the gpm be fixed on faucets like shower heads? I wouldn’t mind updating my faucets to something like this but I dunno if it’s worth giving up my 20yo+ faucets if the new ones put out a trickle...

I keep a small towel next to the sink to wipe dry all wet spots on the faucet , knobs, and counter around the sink rim to avoid hard water stains. A pain but it keeps the spots from forming.

Water's cheap because it's abundant and easily had, a self renewing resource. The transportation of it through pipes is immediately going to be a public issue and surely involve government even if...

Post #134102600 added 01-07-2020 7:45 PM by bbmatt in Deal Talk
water is ridiculously cheap and subsidized by the govt. It doesn't reflect the actual cost of the water - only transport. Until that stops happening, people will still way more than needed water.

No. This splashes far less than my traditional faucet, but that one drains into a flat bottomed bathroom sink, which is the problem. My only problem with these is that even in cities without hard...

We had one and wife hated it. The surface of the spout where the water comes out gets rusted/darkened over time and looks horrible. The water just flows out so you won't get any strong stream to wash...

This is the main reason I think water saving faucets are dumb. Toilets and such, sure, even though their often not as good. You push a handle and it does it’s thing. Either works or it doesn’t....

I have a similar faucet, honestly it shows dirt/grime much more than a traditional faucet as water residue has more surface area to show. If it's your style you can make it work just fine.

I've never seen a faucet design like this that would could create the effect you're talking about. If anything, downward spouts with a lot of water velocity are what makes a big splash/mess.

This is a bit of a concern. I've had a faucet completely stop up before, had to replace the entire damn thing because I couldn't find the right replacement cartridge.
