I second that, going on 4 years and weekly at number 7.5 setting. Only lubricated it a handful of times

I own this. Got from a slickdeals post a couple years ago. It feels like it’s not that powerful at first use. It cuts very well. I don’t lubricate it often, but coconut oil works well for that. Zero...

Bought this 6 years ago, still works great. No issues with battery, cutting, etc. I just make sure I oil it from time to time and brush out any hair that gets stuck. Little maintenance goes a long way

Had mine 4+ years, no issues at all. Some care with the guard on/off I would recommend and I oil it once in 30 uses maybe? Wish it came with a longer guard, have to freehand the winter beard trims...

If you've had one of the "real" Panasonic models from Japan, not the China division, you will be unhappy. If you haven't, then you will probably like it.

Target has these on sale and a 20% off coupon on their app. So I paid about $20. Bought them for my son's first shave last night. Since he essentially has dark baby hairs on his face it did a...

You won’t be disappointed with this. I’ve tried others and I keep going back to this one. This is my old faithful. Finally had to buy another after 6 years as the battery was depleted. This is a...

Have had this trimmer for a few years. Never lubricated, still works perfect. I use it in the shower to trim beard and body hair. The guard tabs broke in first drop but it still works just have to...

Really? My Wahl (dry only) hasn't needed it in 5+ years. Or may be I just didn't know about this??

I have been using this for at least 5 years. I shave my head with it once a month and have never had a problem. Ordered another to have as a spare.

What kind of oil do you use? How easy is it to lubricate?

So.... out of all those you have had, which trimmer do you recommend?

I agree, I've had this for a couple years too. Works great overall.

Same. I have my electrics for an average of three or four years, but I've *never* oiled one.

I have the same problem with mine. The guard is cheap plastic and only held on by little tabs. It breaks very easily.

This trimmer starts at 1; and testing it on my one head, the closest is about 1mm in length without the guard on. It definitely does not go as close as my Wahl Balding Clipper, but then again, it's...
