Considering I shoot (pictures) of people oftentimes, I keep the 85mm on most of the time, due to subject isolation and such. But when I know I'm not, and are doing general purpose/landscape/b etc.....

I wouldn't recommend it as using it on an a7iii puts you at 10mp since it will run in apsc mode

This apsc A73 is a full-frame, will get vignetting unless using in the apsc mode which will drop your resolution to 12 from 24 megapixels

Canon nFD 1.4/50, Minolta MC/MD Rokkor 1.4/50, Minolta MC Rokkor 1.7/55. More full frame. Not the same focal length, but quality lenses for dirt cheap :) Adapters are about $15.
