This is a one-off good deal, but comparing the 9700 vs 9700F or 9400 vs 9400F, the prices are usually the same. Just don’t see the point of the F series in most cases.

I wouldn't i7 10700k is 8 core 16 threads coming Q1 2020 Price will be in same range as 9700K to compete with AMD. the i9 10900k is 10 core 20 threads.

I don’t really understand the point of these “F” series CPU’s. They generally seem to be more expensive than the non-F models that include graphics, yet these cost more.

A 9700k is a way better investment over the 9900k. You can hit 5ghz pretty easy. I recommend this.
