For $100 more, you can get a better deal at cost, HP pavilion. IPS 1080p touchscreen and Backlit Keyboard. You tradeoff 512GB SSD with 256GB though.

Thanks for clarifying, yes fancy thin machines way more likely to have permanent RAM. Basic laptops rarely won't have at least 1 slot where you can install a 32gb module.
