Good price. Downrod length is only 4.5", makes it unsuitable for sloping ceilings, such as mine. Probably also means donwrod cannot be at an angle other than 90° from the mounting plane of the base.

We installed this on our sloped vaulted ceilings no problem.

Let's do a little math here for my case. Ceiling slope is about 27° (single slope!). Fan dia. is 52", so you need a horizontal clearance of more than 26". The upper tip of the blade would have to be...

Got the Nickel for $4 last Christmas at Lowe's, it's okay, during the GHmini debacle. I would definitely not buy this at regular price and no more than $40. So this is an okay deal.

Seems like a good deal but I'm wondering how these compare to Hunter fans. Just as good? Or are they typically junk?

I've installed several Hunter, Hampton Bay, and Harbor Breeze fans at multiple houses. Hunter isn't the name that it once was, and they market some pretty low end fans, so you can't just say that a...

I bought these. Nice clean look and the light is integrated and the remote is great. And yes it is more money but the look of the old Hunter fan style was terrible ...

If you have a sloped ceiling or not, the KEY measurement is the height above the floor. Most manufacturers recommend about 8' above the floor. Measure the fan assembled, measure the distance from the...

look grandma AF. people, spend a little more and get something not hideous if you're putting this in someplace you'll have to look at every day

I bought these a few weeks ago when they were $60 each and installed them in a rental. Very quiet fan for the price. Note it is fairly cheap construction, as there are no rubber washers/etc to...

Isn't the end of the blade very close to the ceiling on the downside? Also, the description does not say whether the angle of the downrod can be changed.

If you enjoy spending hours balancing a wobbly fan then buy this one. Comparable to builder grade.

These are the ugliest style fans. I ripped out 12 Hunter ones that looked just like these and got nice integrated led ones with remotes

Guessing the downvotes because of the price - but yeah that thing looks way better. Can you use in-wall remotes with it?

Hunter fans are NOT what they used to be! I did my whole house in them years ago and nothing but issues and noisy over time with ticking and pinging. I’ll never go Hunter again

Unless the fans are in-stock at your store, there is no free shipping option, and the charge for delivery is not worth the discount. I tried to order 3 brushed nickel fans = $119.94 and delivery...

Nope. Seems to work just fine, and the vault angle is pretty steep. Additionally, longer down rods are readily available at HD or Lowe’s for $10 or so - even with that, this would still be a bargain.

I've gotten very good deals on Hunter fans from Amazon Warehouse. Just have to find one you like and wait till it shows up on Warehouse. Last one I got for $65, and it beats any of these cheap fans...

Agreed. Even their flagship Hunter Original ceiling fan is not what it used to be. The Pre-2002 models were made in America before outsourcing production overseas. Now it is double the cost and...
