At first I wasn't thrilled...but the first year of having Lyft Pink and the 10 pts / $1 reward makes it a pretty decent deal. And I'm willing to at least try DoorDash, too.

Not unless this is your oldest card (which has its own impact on your score). Apart from that closed cards stay on your report for 7-10 years so impact on average age of credit won't be measurable...

if you mean prorated AF then I am not sure how they refund that if you are downgrading. But def if you get the card now your travel credit will reset after you anniversary and AF hitting, not Jan 1...

Yeah looks like it's different for some people. Mine resets after my AF hits. People who signed up at release time might have it reset Jan 1 or around there.

No, it’s based on the start of the year not your renewal date. Those of us who signed up when it was first offered got $300 in travel credit that fall and $300 more beginning January 1.

Same here. Just checked. AF hits in oct statement, travel credit begins in dec statement. I remember spending on travel in nov and travel credit didn’t start. So no bonus until dec 14th cycle...
