I understand for sure. I found my OEM filter for $25 if I buy in a 5 pack, and I'm only supposed to replace my filter every 6 months. So it's worth it to keep using the OEM or something similar...

Cheap filters work fine. Just change them monthly and you are good to go. No need to be paying these exorbitant prices when not needed.

The cheap filters do the job fine. These more expensive filters restrict the airflow and cause issues with your HVAC. The key is to buy cheap filters and replace monthly.

3M also offers a mail-in rebate for these filters, $5 but you can only submit one per household per year. The 2 pack at COstco only has one SKU therefore it counts as a single item for this rebate....
