We found them to be fine, we currently use pampers. But for the same price on huggies and kirkland with that deal, I'd go with huggies. We had less issues with the higgies. Not saying the kirkland...

I've never had a problem with the Up&Up diapers for my kids but they definitely feel thinner than Huggies. I don't like to use Up&Up for overnight, it'll hold pee but doesn't keep my kids skin dry....

The hospital my wife and I had our two kids in used Pampers exclusively. I didn’t get any “hospital bag” sent home with me. They did give me the extra in our room.
