FYI Latitude is a business class laptop, Inspiron is home. Apples and oranges. Used many Latitudes over the years and in general they have held up well. But this deal is not for Latitudes.

Slickdeals tends to "promote" these types of Dell deals. I can only assume Dell pays them a higher commission than other computer vendors. I agree with you that this deal is mediocre at best.

The screen is good imho. I think it's glossy. But again I would recommend you to avoid this tablet, because of the weak hinges and failing hardware.
