Probably can build a custom one for much cheaper if no need for the cabinet. Just some shiplap and come frame and sanded plys. Maybe a day of work plus $50 material

Where are you buying your wood? A sheet of Furniture grade Ply is over $70 Even 1 sheet MDF is going to cost you that $50 before you get to your $2 a linear foot Ship Lap.

I think at this point you’re not going to find anything but composite wood especially for less than $1000. I can’t even remember the last time I saw hardwood furniture that wasn’t in an antique store.
