After using PD rapid charging (18w), it's *really* hard to go back to a slow 5w USB-A charger. This goes doubly so for portable battery packs, as the less time the phone is plugged in, the better.

It matters if you are expecting 20 hours of 2 amp charging at 5V, because you won't get it. It will give up to 20 hours at 2A at 3.7V. At 5V that's more like 15 not counting power loss, imperfect...

I simply use a USB-A power supply. Eliminates 1 cable right there. I only use USB-C to USB-C cable to charge my phone from other devices (e.g. laptop).

No AH is the longevity or capacity of the PB. Voltage doesn't matter, it all gets stepped up to 5V or higher. You cant measure capacity without a unit of time...
