I actually prefer the 15lb Power Pro for most things, I don't like how small the diameter of the 10lb is.

Great find. Best line for spinning rod at 15lbs. Tie on a 10 ft fluoro leader with a blood knot and thats all you need.

15lb is about the diameter of 4lb mono. If you go too light, it makes it really hard to tie knots, especially with cold and wet hands.

Now this is definitely true. Get a dowel or use the handles of pliers to wrap braid around. It will slice you quick. Add a little salt and fish slime and the pain intensifies 😂😂

I always use a monofilament backing. Looking at the capacity of the reel it's a guessing game to get all 150 yards onto the reel. If you ever get into the backing fighting a fish you're screwed...
