I've never seen the need to warm up an engine just to do an oil change. What would be the point? On occasion the vehicle had been recently driven and thus still warm. I don't like draining hot oil...

I don't know if aquarium tubing would be thinner, so be careful there. I don't know about you, but I do warm up my engine before an oil change, just something I've always done.
