If all you care about is sockets, then stop complaining that general use mechanics tool sets include general use tools other than sockets, and go buy yourself a socket set instead.

I am a believer in the online purchase and pickup process at HD. They use lockers and it takes less than a minute. You can plan on 5-10 minutes anywhere else, maybe longer for Lowe’s.
