This TV works well for gaming. The latency is quite low. Forbes mentioned that the LG UM models had around 15ms, which I think is pretty good. It is weird seeing IPS glow on a 7+ foot screen though.

Not attacking you or anything but how is an IPS panel better for gaming? VA panels like the one on the Sony TV generally have much lower latency compared to IPS panels.
