Agree. This line of 17.3 laptops have had 1600x900 display/screen from the beginning of time. My 2013 model has the same 1600x900, which is probably better than this one. No progress at all in years....

Yikes the touch screen version isn't even 1080p! It would be a good buy if it was, but it's not and the 1080p version is more money but not touch screen. Honestly don't see an amazing deal here....

Ditto all of that plus a note about the hinges. The hinge supports will all crumble to dust in a matter of a few years, and be impossible to repair without epoxy and fingers crossed (check youtube)....
