Agreed, they released it with major shortcomings and priced it above the competitors. It was too tough of a pill to swallow, even for pixel enthusiasts.

This was the best deal... Pixel 4 for $400. For people who were able to price match with Amazon they bought the pixel 4 XL unlocked for $600 and with 200 Bb GC. (effectively $400 for 4 XL)

Been using the phone (pixel 4xl) for 5 days. Face recognition works perfectly, but I find it annoying, that when i take a quick look at the time on the screen, the phone unlocks. wave gesture works...
