As a safety feature, most heaters will not turn back on with a smart outlet. Once the heater is turned off, the circuit resets so they have to be manually turned back on.

It all depends on your climate you live in and the outside temperature. In Florida it would probably do a 30 by 30... where in North Dakota maybe 10 by 10
