You can manually tune memory kits. If a kit comes with a Cas of 18. It's possible to get it as low as 16. With Ryzen 3000 aka. Zen2. There is a significant difference between 3600mhz and 3200mhz....

Try adding a little voltage, and you should be able to get it @ 17, with some 16 settings. You could argue that the ripJaws could get 15 settings though.

There are good ram sticks, and there are bad ones. Memory tends to be binned, this kit is crap. High latency ram, and faster ram can be tangibly better. Depends on use case.

I have a 3200 14-14-14-34 samsung b-die and those are overclocked to 3600 16-16-16-36 and FCLK at 1800 to match and how does it perform for day to day use compared to 3200? No difference I see....
