I would just recommend not putting the price after a reward cert as the price of the item, as that’s not really true

Usually there are Facebook deals for like $45 with no tax sometimes US region like when I got pokemon sword for $43 shipped and smash bros for around that as well. This price isn't bad for a first...

Your title and post are very confusing. First, you still pay $47.99 out of pocket, the reward $10 comes later. So you can't count that in the price. Second, your title reads that it's $59.99 shipped...

Question -- I already pre-ordered this with a $10 rewards certificate that was about to expire. Does anyone know if I'll also get the new $10 rewards certificate or not since I pre-ordered before...

You're absolutely right. There's so many games that weren't ported from the Virtual Console. These companies should care about preserving games. I believe there's a ton of people out there who don't...

I can’t say 100% for this case but usually they are good for about two months.

It’s not a waste if you plan on keeping the game forever and playing it well into the future. I admit on a $60 game it’s tough but Animal Crossing isn’t a game you “beat”. You can play it for years...

If you preordered before the certificate promotion you are still set to receive the $10 reward. The reward will be in your points after 14 days of release date as per usual.

Thankfully. My GCU expired in August of 2019 (last year) and bless Best Buy for putting up preorders for Animal Crossing and Metroid Prime well before that. Still have a few other preorders with GCU...

You automatically get the points (and certificate issued if you have it set to default settings) about 14 days after you get the game. The certificate will have an expiration date once it is issued.

It's not really an expiration. The reward points get deposited into your My Bestbuy account that is worth $10 when redeeming it about 14 days after you pick up the game. By default, it is set to...
I agree with you on this licensing concept, but who owns Animal Crossing? This isn't a usual case. Nintendo is the publisher and developer on a store they own for a console they made. This is the...

They’re similar games with different focuses. SV is more of a “life sim” since the emphasis is on your job, money, and tending to your health. The relationships are kinda secondary. AC is...

The discount is decent especially with GCU but I highly highly recommend going digital for this game. I’ve owned previous entries and it’s a pick up and play title. You don’t want to be fumbling...

The $10 GC pre-order rewards is for all my Best Buy members (which is free to join). However, in order to reach the final price $37.99 (after $10 GC rewards), you will also need active gamers...

Your final price will not be $37.99 though. You can use that $10 rewards on a future purchase but it will not apply to this sale. The GCU price is $47.99 regardless of a bonus points offer.

They go back and apply it to previous pre orders though.

I haven't played Animal Crossing for a long time, but from what I remember, the progression always seemed so.. contrived, like the game's main goal was just to keep you playing it for as long as...
