Bought this exact one a couple months back. Took it out if the box and ran it a couple of times full heat for 15 mins each. Washed with soap and hit water after.

Yep...I had to return it. Not only did it emit a strong smell of plastic, but the food tasted of plastic as well. I will say that it did cook food to perfection. But the smell/taste was just awful.

ive had this one before, ran it outside for 20 mins or so and never had a problem, instructions state to run it outside on first run i believe.

You do get that but after a few uses its gone. I just pre-heated it at 400 a few times without food. Gave it a good wash and no more smell.
