I don't believe the inkbird will control different temperatures for time of day, you would have to do that manually or potentially put 2 on timers. That said I don't see much point to having...

I pretty much just set one temperature for my fish. I am wondering if it would be better to set different for day or night. Cooler at night for instance than the day. Probably will end up one temp.

I’ve had the Eheim for 2 years now. I’m happy with it. But most Tank experts suggest you keep an extra one as backup so I’m in for one. Hopefully it’s better than the Eheim!

Any suggestions on which inkbird model to run 2 300 watt heaters. I don’t need any heat cycles or fancy settings. Also what’s the procedure for the controller to work as the thermostat?

After a heater went bad and almost cooked my turtles I got an inkbird controller and has been great in case the same happens again. Makes it easier to get a narrower range of temperature too.6.5.0

Most serious fish rooms go with sumps for anything with a large bio-load. Otherwise a large air pump and sponges are common for an abundance of aquariums.
