That's pretty dumb of them because I'm running the Intel 660p and it's slow as hell junk. I'd definitely see no need to have the Inland if you've got the Samsungs as the latter are the "holy grail"...

Controller isn't quite as fast, much less DRAM (128MB vs. 1GB). I consider it in-between the EX900 and EX920/EX950 for example. It's a compromise option if it's cheaper than the SX8200 Pro.

what's confusing, though, is some people claim you shouldn't use built in motherboard heatsinks for ssds. My thinking is they wouldn't put them there if they'd be definitely bad to use, though.
