The best ways I found is from the safety data sheet and NOACK volatility. So M1 for instance seems to say 10 to 20% PAO as it says 1-decene something. Also PAO and GTL have very low NOACK volatility...

I think so. It flows better, last longer. Usually has better additives. Only issue could be if you have a leak or your car burns oil, synthetic could slip through the cracks a little faster.

There's alot of data out there. People post their oil analysis results if you goto car forums all the time. I personally trust these things more than what the oil companies show you.

This oil is Scotty Kilmer approved. It's also dexos1 gen 2. Ever since i started using this I've noticed that my 8 year old car with almost 90 thousand miles runs like new. The only oil i use now.
