My SIL really likes his. They hold up well too. He does warranty work for an HVAC company. They keep his feet warm during the cold weather. Not sure about hiking but for the price I'd try them out.

So just FYI polyester in hiking socks isn’t good because it means the moisture from sweat/water won’t evaporate very well. If you get wool socks for hiking, polyester is a typically not good.
